Paying for Therapy
At Rise & Find Psychological Services, we are committed to making our fees and information about paying for therapy transparent.
This page will walk you through more information about insurance plans we accept, private pay therapy options, policies, and processes for out-of-network reimbursement.
Using In-Network Insurance in Indiana

We currently accept Aetna, Carelon, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Cigna plans in Indiana. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept any in-network insurances outside of the state of Indiana at this time.

Before your first appointment: We'll verify we are in your network.
At your appointment: We'll collect any copay, coinsurance, or deductible due
After your session: We'll file claims directly with your insurance provider
Statement of benefits: Your insurance will send you a statement explaining what was covered
Please note that using insurance requires us to provide a mental health diagnosis, which becomes part of your permanent medical record. Insurance may also limit the number of sessions or type of treatment covered.

If we are not in-network with your insurance provider, you have the option to use any out-of-network benefits you may have through your insurance provider. We are happy to provider superbills to help you potentially receive reimbursement for services. Additionally, you can also utilize our services through our private pay option. More information is below.

Choosing private-pay therapy allows for a more personalized, flexible, and confidential treatment experience. Many clients find that the benefits of private-pay care align closely with their values and goals.
Private-pay allows clinicians to pursue advanced training and maintain smaller caseloads. This supports high-quality, evidence-based therapy tailored to your needs.

Private pay therapy allows us to determine the pace, structure, and focus of treatment based solely on YOUR needs - not insurance limitations.

Using Out-of-Network Benefits

Ask your health insurance carrier if you have out-of-network benefits for mental health. You may want to then ask about your out-of-network deductible - an amount that you will be required to pay before your carrier begins reimbursing you. Ask what percentage of out-of-network costs will be reimbursed after you meet your deductible. Your carrier may also have an “allowed amount” for individual therapy sessions (CPT code 90834). That means, they could reimburse you for an amount lower than our session fee.

If you decide to use your out-of-network benefits for our therapy sessions, we will provide you with a monthly superbly (an itemized receipt with all of the information your insurance needs) that you can submit to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement.

Since we do not have any contracts with insurance companies, reimbursement is not guaranteed. It is your responsibility to confirm your out-of-network benefits prior to starting therapy.

Payment Policies
Payment Methods
If we decide that Rise & Find is a good fit for your needs after completing your free 15-minute consultation, you will be sent a link to fill out information in your secure client portal. This will include uploading a credit or debit card (HSA/FSA cards are accepted as well). You must have a valid card uploaded to your file in order to receive services.
Good Faith Estimate
We will provide an annual Good Faith Estimate for anticipated costs of therapy, in compliance with the No Surprises Act (2021). For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or contact us with questions.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, provide 24 hours notice to avoid being charged. Appointments cancelled late or missed without notice are subject to the full session fee.
Payment Due at Time of Service
Whether you are using HSA/FSA funds, seeking reimbursement for out-of-network benefits, or paying out of pocket, payment is due at the time of service.
