Let’s get started.
Congratulations! If you’re reading this, you’ve taken the first step in your therapy journey. Let’s walk through what you can expect starting therapy with Rise & Find:
Schedule your free consultation - Click this link to the left to schedule your free 15-minute consultation. To schedule, you’ll be asked to fill out some brief contact information and information about why you’re seeking therapy.
Consultation Call - During the consultation call, your potential therapist will ask you some brief questions about yourself and your goals for therapy and for life. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask your potential therapist questions! The goal of the call is to see if Rise & Find is a good fit for you and your needs. If we agree that it’s a good fit for you, we’ll then talk about scheduling and availability for your first session!
Before your First Session - After your consultation and prior to your first scheduled session, you will be sent a link to complete paperwork in our secure client portal. The paperwork includes signing agreements and giving us some more information about yourself. At this time, you’ll also upload your credit card or HSA/FSA card to your portal. You will also receive an e-mail and text message with a reminder and link for your video appointment prior to your appointment time.
Preparing For Your Virtual Session - Consider if you want to use your phone or laptop to participate in your virtual session. Make sure that if you’re using your phone you download the “Telehealth” app. Your phone or computer should be charged beforehand and make sure you’ve got a strong internet connection. Make sure you have a comfortable, private space to sit for your session.
The Day of Your First Session - You’ll receive another reminder and link for our video appointment.
Your First Session - You made it! Your first session is called an “intake.” This means your therapist will dive deeper from your consultation call, asking you questions to get to know you, your mental health history, your current concerns, and your goals for therapy. The healing process starts here.
